What dress it looks better on me for an 8th grade prom in N.Y.C.?

i have a big butt and alot of hips, i want it to be short by my knee. I'm short and have long hair what you recommend me to wear. oh another thing, i cannot shoe much skin but i just need any idea of what is on style right now. color i don't care i just want a pretty dress for a short (5'2 1/2") with too muchof the bottom and small on the top.
