First of all I'm no fashion expert, but let me try and answer you question. What about shaving? Going to a beauty salon? Or just plucking the hair out?

cut it down and then use an at home wax kit or even better yet go to a salon and have it done!

well if you have the money, you should do laser. But if you dont then you should wax- i do waxing on my face as well.DO NOT SHAVE- that will be a huuuuuge mistake cos ur hair will grow back thick and spiky and u will have stubble on your neck/face!

electrolysis is the best way because it is permanent but it is also expensive.
Waxing will work well and last longer then tweezing and may be more effective if there is a lot of hair and not just a few stray strands. For a few stray chin hair strands just pluck them with a tweezer

you could get it threaded it doesnt hurt and it doesnt cost that much or you could wax it but thats usually a little painful for a bit not to long but if you wax it do it a couple of days before prom that way it wont be red and irratated :) or you could just tweeze them but that might hurt too much lol so yea

Oh my gosh DONT SHAVE DONT SHAVE DONT SHAVE!!!
Wax or for some thing permenant get it lazered.
Waxing is so easy by some wax and wax it off when ever you need to, i do that to unwanted face hair and i dont get the embarresment of having to go to a salon, just read the instructions (if you have to) then just wax it when ever you feel you need to.
good luck!!

Consider getting it professionally waxed DO NOT attempt to wax it yourself- especially before a big even like prom!
I'm a bit dubious of hair removal creams. I did a patch test with one and still got a chemical burn. Again, you don't want any scars before a big day.
You may not have this in your area but threading is an Indian technique where they take a piece of cotton thread and pull the hairs out by winding the thread around them. Worth looking into!
Good luck and enjoy your prom.

Well, you do have a ton of options:
- Bleaching: not so much of a good idea because often times the hair is still visible, just much lighter.
- Shaving: Despite popular belief, shaving does not make more hair appear. I t may seem that way, but you have thousands of hair follicles that grow hair at different cycles
(usually every 3 months). If you shave it, make sure that you shave with the hair, not against it (which creates ingrown hairs, or the "hair bumps"). Use shaving cream for sensitive skin %26amp; warm water.
- Wax: Don't try it at home because if you mess up, it won't look right. Instead, try going to a beauty salon that offers waxing...and get your eyebrows done at the same time!! It is slightly painful, but it takes the hair out from the root, so it will last a lot longer than shaving.
- Laser hair removal: Very expensive, and you won't see results before prom, but it is totally worth it in the long run. The results from about 3-5 treatments last a lifetime. You will never have to worry about facial hair again. Look online for a laser hair spa near you and call for a consultation!
~Good luck!

Welcome to my world of unwanted hair.
waxing is easiest and cheapest but it is painful and is not permanente. I like waxing best right now, but it sucks waiting for the hair to grow back a certain length. There are kits you can buy at drug stores for 15 bucks and will last a few times rather than paying a lot at a salon. I like the "Parissa" strip free. You heat it over the stove, apply a fair amount in the area going against the hair and allow it to dry in like 30 seconds, then you just strip it off. No strips needed, which can get messy.
Laser is expensive and is supposed to be permanente but I have done it over 12 times and still have new hair growth because of a hormone imbalance. You may want to get everything checked out with a doctor as far as your hormones before you decide to pay to have it lasered. Although the areas I have had lasered is less noticable, still it is not completely gone.
Nair may irritate the skin and I don't think it is best for the face.
Shaving is a last resort, but contrary to what some say if does not make your hair thicker. It does however grow back prickly. You actually have to shave the area if you do decide to do laser before.
If you only have a few hairs you may even want to just bleach your chin, it is painless and lasts a while.

there's different ways to take care of unwanted hair. waxing is one way, have you tried that? if you have the prom coming up, you'll want to do it a few days prior as it will cause reddening of the area. call salons in your area to see if they offer waxing and what their experience is in waxing. it is not to painful, and does get rid of the fuzz.
