There are tons of sites for prom tips but the most important tip is to be comfortable, be confident, be yourself and SMILE!!!!!

If you will be wearing higher heels than usual, practice walking in them until you can do so gracefully.

Practice with your hair and make up so you are confident with the process and not panicking at the last minute. You want something that will withstand hours of dancing and perhaps a bit of humidity as prom rooms can get warm.

A gentle but firm undergarment will smooth tummies but again, don't get anything so tight you are uncomfortable. Make sure you have all the proper foundation garments for the style of dress you have selected. You don't want lines showing through or straps slipping and showing.

And make sure what you are wearing stays in place as it is meant to. There is nothing attractive about pulling and tugging on a dress that does not fit properly or moves around where it is not supposed to.

Lastly, select pretty but comfortable shoes. Nothing will ruin an evening more than feet that hurt!
